The bag is by designer, Rebecca Minkoff, which is definitely a bonus. I love the pineapple print & summery colors. This will work as my new official makeup bag because it's adorable. This definitely fits the pretty in paradise theme with the pineapples (not to mention it's a designer bag).
Let's take a look inside, shall we?
It doesn't look like much, but there are definitely some gems in here. Some of the brands include Be a Bombshell, Mark Anthony, Realtree, Ofra & NYX.
Be A Bombshell Mascara
I've gotten a cheek stain by Be a Bombshell in my Ipsy bag a few months ago. After briefly trying this mascara, it seems decent. The only problem is it smells so gross. I don't mind once it's on my lashes, but its such a strong scent. I'll be using this more to see how it compares to my other mascaras.
Marc Anthony Beach Spray
This trial-sized beach spray is supposed to give that just-came-from-a-beach look to the hair. I don't use much product in my hair to begin with. I try to avoid it because I like to let my follicles breathe as much as possible.
Nevertheless, perhaps I'll try this for summer, since I'm all about looking like a mermaid lately. With using beach spray, I'm always worried it'll make my hair look greasy, but hopefully this product won't have that effect.
Ofra Eyebrow Pencil
I don't pay enough attention to my eyebrows. I feel like they have a lot of potential, but I rather not add that extra work to my already tedious makeup routine. On occasion (very, very seldom), I will bust out an eyeliner pencil & test it out (I previously didn't own a proper brow pencil).
The latest trends indicate that bushy brows are a must, so maybe I should go the extra mile. This pencil matches my brow color, so I'll definitely be able to use it. Another reason I avoid filling in my brows is because I know for sure I'll smudge them. It's just setting myself up for failure if I attempt to fill them in.
NYX Butter Gloss Crème Brulee
I've heard a lot of good things about these butter glosses. I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss. I'm not accustomed to wearing it, so I find it really uncomfortable & sticky. Maybe I'll find some that I like eventually. This one would look amazing on fuller lips. It smells yummy, so I rather eat it, instead of wearing it!
Realtree Perfume for Her
Last item from my Ipsy bag is this little perfume sample from Realtree. I simply adore this smell. It's very mature, but not like a grandma smell. It's definitely something I want to savor, so I'll probably hold on to it for a special occasion.
One of the things I love about being subscribed to Ipsy is that it allows me to branch out & try things that I would normally stay away from. Although I'm unfamiliar with a few of these products, I'm eager to use them.
I especially love the bag design this month. It's definitely my favorite out of every Ipsy bag I've received. Such an incredible deal for only 10 bucks a month. Hope you enjoyed my glam bag review!
