Back to School Motivation

Hello everyone! In a mere few weeks I'll be returning to school for the fall semester. Around this time I usually start to feel anxious & unsure about the upcoming few months. I enjoy school, but need a little extra motivation to help me bring my A game.

Here are a few things that will help make the transition from summer to fall a little easier.

Nothing beats the influx of motivation that comes from a glance at breathtaking scenery. I know that the harder I work, the more likely I'll be able to witness this kind of beauty with my own eyes. The scenery gives me relaxation & peace of mind, that will ultimately balance the stress of registering for classes.

Seek inspiration through words.

I know it's cliche, but sometimes reading inspirational quotes gives us a reminder of something we've possibly forgotten or it at least plants an idea into our head, which will overall improve our productivity.

That's the whole point of school, right? To make dreams a reality. With all the tension that comes from classes & tuition, it's easy to forget the purpose of school & why we chose to undertake it all in the first place.

Society pushes us to associate school with money because of all the spending on textbooks, but it is much, much more than that. School should be about growth & finding opportunity.

Adapt to the changing seasons.

The change of seasons will require a slightly different daily routine. Since I'll be busier with school, I'll have to find the best time to do yoga & other stuff. Adapting to each semester has gradually become easier, but I still have to balance the fluctuating workload along with other activities.

One great thing about going back to school is the excuse it gives you to shop! I'll be needing to buy a few more Autumn-y clothes, as well as some cute school supplies.

Inevitably I do a lot of my back to school shopping at target because they always have the cutest stuff. I might just opt for an Aztec print backpack like the one pictured.

Look forward to all the experiences to be had.

In these last few weeks of summer break, I look forward to all the things I'll learn this semester, whether it's from a class, a book or firsthand experience. College has been quite an adventure thus far, even if sometimes it feels like a clear warning of the perils of adulthood.

Hope everyone is ready for fall with some exciting things planned! That's all for now.
