October Ipsy Glam Bag 2014 Review

Hello everyone! I'm back with another overview of what's in my glam bag this month. The theme for October is called beauty candy, which I think is too perfect. Since the theme usually corresponds with the month, candy must refer to this upcoming Halloween. The bag itself is simply amazing. I'll definitely get some use out of it because it happens to be one of my favorite colors.

Nourish Organic Face Cleanser

I could always use some more organic beauty products in my routine, so I was pretty satisfied to receive this organic cleanser. It won't be too drying on my skin for the upcoming chilly months. The only downside is that the smell is kind of gross. I usually don't have a problem with scents, but this one is hard to handle.

Skyn Iceland Mini Glacial Cleansing Cloths

These smell super refreshing & it makes me want to use them every night. I know some people might be bothered by strong smelling makeup wipes, but I personally love them. These wipes also contain ingredients to soothe the skin after a long day of stress. It's a decent sized pack, so they'll last a while.

Figs & Rouge Hand Cream

I'm gonna be needing tons of hand cream for the upcoming months because my skin gets very dry during fall/winter. I was thankful to receive this hand cream in my glam bag because it smells yummy & doesn't leave my hands too slippery. It also contains shea butter, which is always a good ingredient for moisturizing the skin.

City Color Be Matte Lipstick in Cappuccino

Ipsy finally answered my prayers & put a lipstick in my bag & it's actually a pretty killer shade too! I'm definitely lacking in matte lipsticks, so this was simply perfect. The color is natural looking & perfect for Autumn because of its brown undertone. I can't wait to wear it out somewhere!

MicaBeauty Mineral Eyeshadow in Reluctance

The last item in my glam bag this month is a loose powder eyeshadow. The color is a smokey grey with a slightly green undertone. It's very shimmery & pigmented, so I'm not really looking for this kind of eyeshadow at the moment. I rarely use loose powder for eyeshadow & the color just isn't my style.

Well once again Ipsy did not disappoint! I love most of the items this month & I especially adore the bag itself. There's a nice variety of beauty products that I can't wait to use. There were a lot of new brands this month that I wasn't previously familiar with. It seems like a lot of time & effort was put into this month's item lineup & I wonder if everyone else feels the same way!

Hope you enjoyed my Ipsy glam bag review for this month. If you want to receive a bag for only $10/month you can subscribe using my link. That's all for now!
