December Ipsy Glam Bag 2014 Review
The first product is this mineral eye polish by Cailyn. I was a bit confused by how it functions as an "eye polish", but I realized that's just a fancy term for eyeshadow powder. After trying it out once, I actually really like it & it seems to last a while. The color softens up the eyes & it can blend with any eyeshadow or by itself.
There's no way I would ever use a product if I knew it was tested on animals (I always do my research.) I like how this brand promotes that outright. It'll take me a while to see if this cleanser really benefits my skin, but I'll probably take it along on vacation since it's small.
NYX Butter Lip Balm
This lip balm by NYX definitely makes my lips feel hydrated & ready for lipstick. Wearing it by itself gives the appearance of fuller lips because it has a slight nude tint. I'd probably purchase some more of these lip balms in different colors, although it has a pretty strong fruity taste.
Tarte Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara
I've heard great things about Tarte mascaras so I was completely ecstatic to get one in my Ipsy bag this month. It's definitely a treat from the people of Ipsy, since it's a higher end brand. I already love it & will start using it religiously.
Overall I'm very impressed with the products in my bag. Some of them will be useful to take on vacation with me when I go home for the holidays in a week. The bag was a little disappointing since it's irrelevant to the whole holiday theme, but everything else was decent. Can't wait to see what Ipsy 2015 has in store!
