November Favorites 2014 Beauty & More

Hello everyone! The month of November was quite eventful & I happened to try a lot of great products, so I thought I'd share my favorites for the month. It was very cold here in Texas, so my skin has felt pretty dry. I found a few products that have been helping with my recent breakouts. I also have a non-beauty fave that has gotten me through the cold days.

Revlon Lipstick in Toast of New York

I don't think I've mentioned this lipstick in a post before, which is strange because it's been my favorite for a while. This month I've been using it tons because it goes great with the Autumny weather. The shade is a deep brownish, coppery red. That's probably the best way I can describe it. I've gotten loads of compliments on it, so I've been where it everywhere.

NYX Wonder Pencil

Talk about another amazing, unforgettable product! The NYX wonder pencil is very useful in covering up blemishes. It has a much different consistency than typical concealer because it is has a drier consistency, similar to lip liners. You can use it to perfect the edges of your lipstick. More than anything, I just pop it on a few red spots & it covers them up wonderfully. They have 2 other shades to choose from to match any complexion.

BiorĂ© Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser

Who knew charcoal could be so good for skin? This pore cleanser by Bioré gets deep into the pores to prevent dirt from getting under the skin. It makes my skin look clean & has a tingly feeling during application. It feels so much more refreshing than other cleansers I've used in the past. I have issues with my pores constantly having dirt, but this cleanser greatly reduces that.

Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara

This was recommended to me a few months ago as a dupe for high end mascara & I've been loving it. It helps keep the lash curled & separated, so they look fuller & more natural. I don't experience any smudging while wearing it, so I'd definitely say it's a cheap alternative to high end mascara. The wand works as a comb to keep the lashes from sticking together.

Psssst Instant Dry Shampoo

I recently started falling back in love with Psssst dry shampoo, not that I ever stopped loving it. I had been using a different dry shampoo for a while until it ran out, so I repurchased this one. It smells so much better than other dry shampoos & hardly leaves any white residue, even with my dark hair. It doesn't dry out my hair too much or make it feel dirty.

On The Road by Jack Kerouac

This may be the first time I've included a book in my monthly favorites. I've been glued to the pages of this one because it takes place in the 1940's & involves hitchhiking. It's just a really interesting story about the author, who documented his adventure with friends during that time period. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for something to read this winter that'll give you plenty of wanderlust.

Well that's it for my favorites of the month! Hope you get to try some of these products that I recommended. Let me know if you have any products that I should be trying this month.
