March Ipsy Glam Bag Review 2015

Hello everyone! March is upon us, which means a new Ipsy bag for this month. Last month I did not do an Ipsy bag review for many reasons. The primary reason I skipped out last month was because the February bag was extremely disappointing. It was by far the least quality bag I received so far, so I decided not to go through the trouble of posting it on here.

Luckily, Ipsy redeemed itself this month with a few good products that are worthy to share. The theme for this month is Floral Fantasy, which ultimately captures what March is truly about. The flowers are beginning to bloom & soon enough it will be time to breakout our summer wardrobes.

The bag this year is quite unique because it has a nice floral pattern to compliment the theme. I could say more about it, but it's pretty basic. It looks like a quality bag & I may use it a few times as an accessory bag.

NYX Butter Lipstick in Hunk

I don't own many NYX lipsticks, but this one makes me feel like I should! It goes on super smooth & has a lasting color. I thought the shade would be too purple for me, but that was not the case at all. It's actually closer to fuchsia or pink with a hint of purple. Very impressed with the buttery texture, unlike some lipsticks that are too dry.

Mary Kay At Play Eye Crayon in Teal Me More

This is my first time seeing a Mary Kay product in my glam bag. This color is really fun, but definitely not useful to me. I rarely wear this color on my eyes, but I'm sure some people would find it pretty & bold. I believe the product typically retails for around 10 dollars, so that's quite a deal getting it through my Ipsy subscription.

Laneige BB Cushion

Whenever I see these annoying little samples in my Ipsy bag (which is not often), I get a bit disappointed. I don't subscribe to receive these little packages or brochures that I'll eventually end up wasting or throwing out. Nevertheless, I haven't tried this yet. I do love my BB creams, so hopefully it'll impress me. More importantly, I hope it's matches my skin tone.

Coolway Glow Oil Treatment

Besides the packaging being a bit impractical & confusing, I like how this makes my hair feel. I used it a few times after showering & it seems to give a little extra shine to the hair without making it feel greasy. It's got some healthy ingredients, as well, like seaweed, which if you've tried my seaweed mask for hair, you know all about how amazing it is.

Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels

Yet another annoying little sample package. I've seen this brand in my Ipsy bag before & remember liking that product. I haven't tried these firming eye gels, but I'm eager to do so as soon as possible. It's nice to see something I've never tried before & hopefully it produces noticeable results.

Overall, this month's bag is a huge improvement from February. It certainly didn't wow me, like I have been in previous months, but it's well worth the monthly fee of 10 dollars. Hope you enjoyed my review & got a chance to receive your own Ipsy bag! If not, you can get it using my link for just $10/month. That's all for now!
