June Ipsy Glam Bag Review 2015

By 11:37 PM , , ,

Hello everyone! It's that time of month again; Ipsy time! This month's theme is swim into beauty, which couldn't be more appropriate for this weather we've been having lately. All I've wanted to do for the past few weeks is swim & relax by the pool.

The glam bag is oddly made of bathing suit material, which is an interesting texture. It's cute & simple, with a hot pink zipper to accompany the plain black color. I'll probably be giving this one away since it's a little too plain for my taste.

tre'StiQue Mini Shadow Crayon

Not really into dark shadows, but I'll give this one a try. It seems like an interesting combo to have a crayon shadow, so I'm eager to see if it'll last without smudging. Smokey eyes are somewhat making a comeback this summer, so it's a good time to have a darker shadow crayon. Too bad it doesn't seem to be waterproof.

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner

I'm so ready to try this out when I get a chance. I'm always looking for ways to get rid of pores, so this just might work. I've had this brand before in previous bags, so I'm familiar with it. It seems appropriate for the hotter months because that's when the pores open up, becoming more prominent on the skin.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

I was so psyched to see a high end product included in this month's bag. Smashbox has some great stuff, so I'm sure this primer works well. I don't typically use primers because that would be adding an extra step to my makeup routine. If I found a great primer that worked, perhaps it'd be a step worth taking. Regardless, I'm just grateful that Ipsy is working with high quality brands to ensure we get beyond our money's worth.

Pure Brazilian Miracle Leave-In Conditioner

Pretty much every single glam bag includes some brand of leave-in conditioner, but hey, I'm not complaining. I love trying different ones & testing their quality. Not to mention, they all smell so splendid, especially this one. I'm currently trying it out & it definitely makes a difference in the texture of my hair. It seems to be one of my fave hair products at the moment, actually.

Absolute New York Nail Lacquer

I love this nail color because it reminds me of all things aquatic! If I wanna achieve total mermaid status this summer, this nail color will help further that fantasy. It's just the perfect balance of sea green & turquoise. I don't typically expect to get a nail polish that's worth trying, but this one is a must.

Well that's all the products I received this month! If you'd like to receive an Ipsy bag for only $10/month you can subscribe using my link. Hope you're having the best summer!
